Facebook Pages killing Discussion feature at the end of October
The Discussion tab, which is essentially a simple forum app that comes standard with Pages, will no longer be available at the end of October.
Facebook says “The best way to encourage conversation and feedback is through posts and comments on your wall”..
It seems that Facebook is eliminating all communications tools that don’t boost edgerank, which is a benefit for Pages admins because increasing long-tail awareness for your org is all about edgerank.
