Facebook Pages now offer easier ways to create Alias URLs
Facebook Pages now have a new option called “Create Alias” under “Marketing” within the admin panel.
An “Alias” is a shortened URL for your Facebook Page, making it easier for potential fans to remember, and easier to use in print, radio or TV (facebook.com/CreatingTheFuture as an example)
Create an Alias for your Facebook Page

This new approach differentiates the feature from what most people might consider login credentials (username / password). Also, having this option in the admin panel enables users to be aware that the feature exists.

I do not have the “create allias” option you are referring to as an option. I have tried to create a page as a community, artist, business, and product and none of them give me that option. What am I doing wrong? Any ideas would be greatly apprecaited. I’m logged into FB under my personal account and then I created a new page for my Christmas light hobby http://www.GilbertLights.com. I’m trying to make a FB page for Gilbert Lights.
Do you have 25 fans on these Pages?
