Facebook Releases Recommendation Bar For Websites
Yesterday Facebook launched a new social plugin called the Recommendations Bar which helps visitors to your website find articles based on what their friends have read, liked, commented on, and shared.
As a visitor scrolls down an article on your website, a pop-up appears at the bottom of the browser with a list of recommended articles and a like button for the current page.
Facebook claims that in early tests, sites using the Recommendation Bar are getting a 3x increase in click through rates on recommended articles displayed in the Recommendations Box.
